LA thrashers Body Count, best known for being fronted by rapper Ice T and for their controversial hit 'Cop Killer', have been signed by hardcore label Sumerian Records and are expected to release a new full length album in 2013.
This will be the first full length since 2006's ]Murder 4 Hire and first new material since their Gears of War 3 song, 'The Gears of War'.
hardcore label sumerian records
Well they have got a lot of hardcore acts as well as metalcore and of course The Dillinger Escape Plan. And now Body Count somehow.

These guys had a great line-up back in the day, looking forward to some new material. I could care less for Ice-T but the rest of the band were great musicians.

title doesn't work
Yeah, I thought there was a mass murder at the label's headquarters or something
sounds like you're acknowledging an erection
Didn't see that one coming...
Blah blah blah.
Digging: SORNE - Ego Altar
Actually as I've said earlier in the thread, Ice T seems to have hinted in his tweets that the album might be called "Rise!" which would make the title work.
"I could care less for Ice-T but the rest of the band were great musicians."
Oh so you do care?
Wh---- Wha----------- What? .....

They actually have another random-ass rapper called Bizzy Bone on their label, too. His vids get 50 views at the max. I really don't know what they are trying to do signing these guys.
Digging: Our Last Night - Oak Island
BC actually have a fanbase though - not just Ice T's. True they've declined over the years but being on Sumerian, a rising record label, is a smart move for them to get more exposure.
I just saw Ice T on Law and Order playing a cop. What a hypocritical douche.
Not really no.
He was pretty wicked on that show though
or like Ice Cube playing a cop in 21 Jump Street.

i see no hardcore here.

You know it makes sense.
Congratulations on the title. Quite witty.

I'm aiming for a career in tabloid journalism. Or at least I probably should be with puns like these.
almost stacks up to this title: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/news.php?newsid=22506

I really like it. I was expecting some sort of tragedy or there has been an ongoing conflict and somehow a 'hardcore' label is fighting... insurgents? :o
This definitely makes up for Capture The Crown lol
