Sumerian's Body Count rises
2012-12-10 by Philip Whitehead | 54 Replies | 2761 Views

LA thrashers Body Count, best known for being fronted by rapper Ice T and for their controversial hit 'Cop Killer', have been signed by hardcore label Sumerian Records and are expected to release a new full length album in 2013.

This will be the first full length since 2006's ]Murder 4 Hire and first new material since their Gears of War 3 song, 'The Gears of War'.

Better still, Ice T's tweets indicate the new album will be called "Rise!".

Actually as I've said earlier in the thread, Ice T seems to have hinted in his tweets that the album might be called "Rise!" which would make the title work.

"I could care less for Ice-T but the rest of the band were great musicians."

Oh so you do care?

They actually have another random-ass rapper called Bizzy Bone on their label, too. His vids get 50 views at the max. I really don't know what they are trying to do signing these guys.

BC actually have a fanbase though - not just Ice T's. True they've declined over the years but being on Sumerian, a rising record label, is a smart move for them to get more exposure.
