Well, that song was boring as fuck. It went nowhere for eleven minutes, sounded really muddy in its production and was generally just shallow for a post-metal song. Don't see the Panopticon likeness, this is much less refined, to the point or even pretty as Panopticon is.

2.5/5

Song blows. Might have to give it another listen, but it seems to be another pile of generic post-metal shit.

This song = hey, let's rip off Holy Tears but this time, just add no substance whatsoever. The cleans are such an ISIS rip-off it hurts.

Nah, as Sputnik's non-official post-metal authority I can tell you all that my bro Snox is wrong and that this rules hard.

Hence "non-official." And since he doesn't rec stuff super often, I will soon attempt a coup and I will uslurp him from his throne.

Thought it was a shitty attempt at post-metal with ripped off ISIS riffs, vocals and no atmosphere or substance to make it engaging in the slightest.

I will write a happy review first, because God knows that one can predict how much the general community will like an album based on the first (good) review's opinion of it.

I want to like this but the fact that they are just ripping off ISIS' sound is really making me hate them. That watery bass...man...you just can't copy a tone like that and have it be okay.
