Dave Brubeck Dies

The world of Jazz has been struck a horrible blow with the passing of legendary pianist Dave Brubeck. Dave Brubeck was renowned for turning the jazz world on it's head by utilizing the 5/4 time signature and released a string of successful albums with The Dave Brubeck Quartet.
Brubeck passed away due to heart failure in Connecticut, he was 91.

This hit me like a stack of bricks, this guy was an idol to me and my sax back in the high school band. Always used to joke and say "Awww, Dave 'Bro'beck is the Sax God." He will be sorely missed but he lead an eventful life.
