New teen suicide EP, band breaks up

Maryland indie/emo band teen suicide have released a final EP, entitled hymns. It will also be pressed on a limited run of 30 seven-inches. The record marks the group's fourth official release this year, all of which were EPs. The band announced that they had broken up in late November, and will be playing their final two shows in December and January (see their Facebook page for details).
The group had made a small name for themselves recently, having played across small independent tours with the likes of fellow emo group Old Gray, and at a Brooklyn CMJ Showcase in October, promoted by prominent YouTube reviewer The Needle Drop and music publication site Beats Per Minute. Their previous release, the i will be my own hell because there is a devil inside my body EP, is also available for pre-order on various 12" colors by Songs From The Road Records (http://songsfromtheroad.storenvy.com/).

it's probably because most people playing in emo bands are kind of emotionally messed up to begin with, i'm sure it makes it difficult to keep a band going for very long.

It ranges from one to four guys. Mostly it's two dudes on the real shit and then a whole lot of demos with the frontman.

Regardless this is a lazy ass EP that took 15 minutes to make.

Here's my thoughts. They start out as emo. Form a band to express their anger and sorrow. Then they play a few gigs, get laid by a scene girl and that's it. No more Emo band.
What follow next is said scene girl breaks up with former emo kid, resulting in a mixture of anger and sadness. This my friends is where 'core music comes from.
