Begining was cool then it became not cool. Lyrics are beyond horrid.

Generic death(ish)core with clean vocal choruses. still fun though. The vocalist's screams have improved too which is nice.

You guys don't know half of it... The portuguese "heavy" scene is saturated with this kind of music. It's so bad every new song that comes out, by any of these "core" bands sounds EXACTLY THE SAME (i.e., deathcore/djent and a stupid amount of breakdowns). Most popular bands around here: Periphery and Chelsea Grin, and couple of Br00tal bands more.

Not to sound anti-nationalist or something, but it annoys the fuck out of me, and it needs to change ASAP.

Shuyin, are you from Portugal? If so, go ahead and prove me wrong, name ONE "core" band that has put something good and original in the last 3 years.

Good? Yes. Original? Hell no. As much I like the production on some albums, I just can't ignore the lack of originality.

I guess Portugal is still stuck in the early 2000's, with all the regular metalcore and what not. Some bands try to add their "own" sound - which means things like djent parts, deathcore breakdowns and, surprise, surprise, choruses with annoying clean vocals.

This country needs more bands like Linda Martini. Now that's something I'm proud of!
