Set Your Goals' drummer, Mike Ambrose, has announced his departure from the band. In other news, Set Your Goals is still a band. You can read his post on the band's facebook at http://www.facebook.com/setyourgoals?fref=ts
"In other news, Set Your Goals is still a band."
My soul has smiled upon this snark.
shame the last album was awful
Digging: Daft Punk - Random Access Memories
I liked This Will Be The Death of Us... Haven't heard anything else though...
it's either that or mutiny as their best album
burning at both ends is ridiculously bad
Never understood the love for this band, their vocalist is so whiney it's pathetic. Gaia Bleeds was catchy though
Sometimes I think my articles won't get posted because of the snarky remarks. Then I remember, this is sputnik.
Digging: The Dillinger Escape Plan - One of Us Is the Killer
Love the snarky remarks.
Digging: This Will Destroy You - Young Mountain
Shame he was really talented. New singles are sounding pretty tight, so looking forward to the next album after burning at both ends was such a huge letdown.
Digging: Turnover - Magnolia
"Mike Ambrose, has announced his departure from the band. In other news, Set Your Goals is still a band."
Lol who cares
Digging: TesseracT - Altered State
was there a MUTINY!?!?
Digging: Faith No More - The Real Thing
damn you andcas and your pop punks puns
Hopefully the next album will be good! BABE was pretty bad.
Wet Your Holes
AHAHAHAHAH Andcas. Anyway, This Will Be The Death of Us was a really good album. It had a political concept many can't attach to.
They haven't been good since Mutiny anyway
Digging: The World is a Beautiful Place And... - Whenever, If Ever
this will be the death of us had some pretty good songs
that album was boss. especially the guest spots.
but the way hailey was introduced in the song was really lame
I loved it. the harmonizations are awesome.
her part/song is cool just the way she like stopped them and was like
can i get in on this shit guys? kthx *screams/yells*
drummer was the highlight of this band
Great drummer. They'll find someone comparably good, I'm sure.
Digging: The 1975 - Sex
he probably finally decided to join a metal band
last 2 albums were total dogshit
yeah but ur satty who cares what u think
Digging: Of Montreal - Daughter of Cloud
R.I.P set your goals
pssh every band has a bad album, this is no diff, sad to see drummer go, but the band has to move on, and focus on the next album.
it wasn't that bad but it just wasn't catchy and a huge step down.
burning at both ends also had really really bad production too
they can't pull of the poppiness of the album
I'll start off my drum audition by saying, "woah woah guys, um, is it cool if I get in on this here?"
that part pretty much ruined the song
it was cute.
it would have been great if she just popped outta nowhere
well her family taught her to be polite and ask first.
I thought it was a little lame but it didn't detract from the song too much for me.
I thought it fit the personalities of both artists, and was slightly humorous the first 10 times.
I thought it ruled. Made it my favourite song of theirs at the time (I heard it before Mutiny).
