In a shocking move, Lacey Sturm has stepped down as the singer of Flyleaf. The news comes right before the release of their upcoming album New Horizons, set to drop October 30. The move appears to be mutual and on good terms. The band will complete their current tour with Kristen May, formerly of Vedera.
"We are excited for this new chapter in the history of Flyleaf, and hope that our fans will accompany us as we continue on this journey to bring hope and inspiration through our music. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the years and we are looking forward to playing for you again soon."

Lacey was Flyleaf. I don't even like their music that much, but when I saw them live she made it a theatrical, almost religious experience.
