I love Thrift Shop and everything else I've heard by him (besides And We Danced) just sounds like Atmosphere. Maybe I'll check this.

you're allowed to though, since it's streaming. saw him live like two weeks ago, he is really good, even though I'm not too familiar with his music. I'm about halfway into the stream, it's really good so far

So a pal once send me a song by this guy (?) and it wasn't too bad. Ozzie, is this worth checking out? Don't disappoint me!

"Wolf, if you dig hip-hop in any form, it's worth it. It's surprisingly great!"
I do. I'm gonna check this out.

oh sweet wings is on here, I thought that was a standalone single. song pretty much smashes every hip hop stereotype to pieces, and in style. incredible flow, catchy, varied use of instruments, great message

this guy plays every fucking festival in the Northwest, seriously he's mainstream huge here. my sister loves him (this kind of makes me seem like a dick) and so I always kind of assumed I would hate him. Maybe I should have watched his sets one of the several times he was playing a festival I attended?

Yeah he is really good live, he has a lot of energy and was good at getting the audience involved

Yeah it's weird that I haven't heard of this guy until a couple weeks ago and I've already listened to this album a good few times. This is fucking good

I think it's on the Deluxe edition as a bonus track.

I've heard a lot of people compare this guy to Atmosphere but I listened to one of his songs and just found him irritating.

Who knows.

It annoys me, as a lot of people listen to 'And We Danced' which is a completely different style. People don't seem to understand that he sounds nothing like that normally and he's taking the piss intentionally. It's a great song, because he doesn't take himself too seriously, but people listen to just it and judge him based off that and don't even listen to any of his other stuff. Ridiculous.

Nah, I listened to the remix of Otherside because one of my friends was talking about it incessantly. His lyricism and flow were above average, for sure, but I just couldn't get into it. Which is weird, cause I absolutely love Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, Eyedea et. al.

Maybe I'll give something else a trye.
