Devycore. dem beatdowns.
yep, it's a masterpiece
'Sweet, a stream? I can put my review up early! '
Are you sure? Remember this:
3 of 22 thought this review was well written
Damn, now I wish I'd written a review in advance. Guess I'll just have to get it taken care of when I get home.
Unfortunately mediocre album.
pretty weird, not sure what to make of it. seems like the sort of album that will take a few listens to really sink in. sounds a lot like Addicted, but with a gospel choir. "Where We Belong" slays tho
"hold on" is also great
Im not sure about the "catchyness" of it but I prefer my Townsend to be more challenging.
Fuckin stoked to listen to this
After listening to this for about a week, I can say its probably one his most consistent album. Kingdom is just....magical.
there is not a more overrated musician in the history of the world than devin townsend
Karnivool Sound Awake
really sounds bombastic and kinda cheesy, dunno if I think this is awful or brilliant, makes me want to do repeat listens tho so thats usually a good sign
This stream is apparently for the three of you that didn't listen to the "listening party" video. Album rules.
Digging: Timbre - Sun & Moon
Three songs in and this is great
Digging: Vangelis - Blade Runner Soundtrack
Album is full of surprise boners.
this album rules
Nothing like some delicious DevyPop.
"there is not a more overrated musician in the history of the world than devin townsend"
Porcupine Tree In Absentia
Porcupine Tree Fear of a Blank Planet
Porcupine Tree Anesthetize
Steven Wilson Grace for Drowning
We digging up people's ratings to say... what exactly?
"We digging up people's ratings to say... what exactly?"
That someone's argument about overrated musicians is undermined incredibly when that person holds another overrated in such high regard. The message was crystal clear, how did you not get that?
(And I'm a PT fan through and through. Also, I'm purposely being a bit of an ass here)
Masochists tend to that...
