Their last one was so bad.
Digging: Jeff Rosenstock - We Cool?
Hook, Line, and Sinner
Yeah it really was bad
It's cool that their name basically translates to "You're Gonna Have A Bad Time" which is true about listening to them
Digging: Violent Soho - Hungry Ghost
If you French fry when you should pizza, you're gonna have a bad time
If you Texas In July when you pizza, You're Gonna Have A Bad Time.
if you listen to texas in july you're a fucking idiot
Digging: Troy Baker - Sitting In the Fire
Lancaster from their debut is a good song, so is I Am Yours. One Reality was horrible
it's not my first rodeo has some interesting riffs but that's about it as far as this band goes
I'm interested in the Matt Greiner feature and the Chadwick Johnson feature. Thats about it
Adam Grey tries so hard to be like Matt Greiner and he is just not as good or original
They'd probably be better if they stopped trying so hard to be August Burns Red.
Yeah the band has like two good songs and a shitload of shitty tracks.
Band is so boring, I'm sure this will be too. Good luck to them anyway.
Its insulting to ABR how much these guys copy them, in a boring way. There wasn't one good song on One Reality, only bits and pieces
Their EP remains their best work. That last album was beyond terrible.
Band is pretty average live.
I actually think Adam Grey is a talented drummer because of some of the ridiculous stuff he can do but he is terrible at writing. He doesn't write anything cool for their albums but he can slay a set
He was only 17 or 18 when he started playing with the band, so props for that but he really isn't as cohesive with his flow as Matt. Not to mention he needs a better band
Yeah he needs a better band for sure. But he's more fun live than on record. And yeah I mean he needs work but still his youtube videos are insane
His stick tricks are awesome and he doesn't miss a beat doing them either
Digging: Travis Scott - Days Before Rodeo
I think many great metal bands (and bands in general) started out with the members being teenagers. But they didn't all suck.
Hook, line and shitty.
First comment is a winner
Well he lives in a world where Attack Attack albums are 5s, so yes probably
Its insulting to ABR how much these guys copy them, in a boring way.
August Burns Red announce album. Texas in July announce album same day.
^^same release date too
Yeah and ABR's cover album will slay this haha
^^same release date too
Ok, now it's fact.
Same release date as well? haha, wow
Whatever, hopefully this one is actually worth listening. It is very probable that it isn't.
intredasting, especially the greiner feature...meow.
Probably gonna suck, but I'll check it out just in case it doesn't. Wish they would find their own damn identity as a band instead of trying to use ABR's.
I haven't liked any of their other releases; I doubt this will fair differently.
Oh hey I didn't know August Burns Red was coming out with D-sides.
Digging: Big Blood - Double Days II
"if you listen to texas in july you're a fucking idiot"
Come on. I Am had some cool riffs.
The likelihood that this will suck is like a 95 % chance.
They should just rename their band Adam Gray, it's the only reason anyone listens to them anyway.
Come on. I Am had some cool riffs.
And I get to see them today. With Abandon All Ships……
September 11th lol
Digging: Title Fight - Floral Green
their 1st one was great
For some reason I read this as Dead Texan and got super disappointed : /
Digging: Imperial Triumphant - Abyssal Gods
I Am even had a few cool songs but it got worn down by the bad vocals, obnoxious breakdowns, and their resistance to sound original. One Reality has like no redeeming value. I hope they surprise with this album
Hook Line and Sinner and Reflections will forever be the best songs these guys wrote. Everything else has been boring as fuck songs.
Not trying to sound like an ignorant asshole (because i'm not) but this band sucks and needs to go away along with core music in general. Its already a dying genre.. It always has and always will lack any kind of originality.
