Rise Records have signed the newly formed band called Issues. Issues consist out of harsh vocalist Michael Bohn, pianist Ben Forris, guitarist Cory Forris, clean vocalist Tyler Carter (all former members of Rise Records' Woe, is Me) as well as Case Snecdor, the drummer for Tyler Carter's solo project.
hopefully they will both play a show together and there will be a fire and they will all die
Digging: Barrow - Though I'm Alone
most awkward title i've ever seen
Digging: Magnolia Electric Co - Trials and Errors
Digging: L'Orange and Stik Figa - The City Under The City (Instrumental)
Wha? So, wait. The only difference is the drummer? Did he have rights to the band name or something?
Digging: Neil Davidge - Halo 4 Original Soundtrack
why would you post this through woe, is me's page?
Digging: Waxahatchee - American Weekend
Woe, is Me has Issues harharhar
they split the members and made two bands, I guess everyone saying they didn't need 7 got their wish
Case Snecdor may be the greatest name ever.
Digging: Supercell - ZIGAEXPERIENTIA
ahh, i thought they were totally gonna sign that one band on life or whatever...
Shit band lol
Digging: Erra - Augment
Article needs lots of work.
Digging: Mount Eerie - Pre-Human Ideas
Band article. I'm going to assume the band is worse.
Digging: Paavo - Paavo
4/5 ex Woe, is Me members signed to Rise. I have no idea how this band is going to sound.
Exactly the same.
Something tells me this band is going to have some Issues....
doubt it. the drummer in woe was the whole problem.
Well they took the two best members of the original Woe is me so it should sound decent at least vocal wise.
the drummer in woe was the whole problem.
too many of the same fill, upon other problems
this is a horribly written article
Stupid band name. But their last band was called woe, is me so I shouldn't be surprised.
Austin Thortan is probably throwing a shit fit.
I guarantee the new album will be falling in reverse all over
again where they'll do nothing but talk shit on their ex band.
yeh fuck u drummer check out our new band we're good
It's funny Rise signed them knowing that eventually they would probably tour together.
of mice and men and attack attack haven't toured together.
Werent they on main stage warped last year?
warped tour is another story because that's a huge fest.
attack attack and of mice and men actually did tour together. ironically it was the "This is a Family" tour haha. but that was when jerry roush was in the band
Was always okay with the clean vocals, but the rest was terrible and it doesn't seem Issues will be any different.
This is hilarious.
lol wow really? omg lol
Digging: Wolfheart - Winterborn
this is so aoon
Digging: Mansions - Doom Loop
Rise Records' next supa scene band
Who the fuck approved this.
of mice and men didn't play main stage last year.. at least not at my date
this article is offensive on so many levels
"hopefully they will both play a show together and there will be a fire and they will all die"
Digging: Weekend Nachos - Still
yes. it's that poorly written. maybe you didn't read it yet
A little better of a name than Woe, is Me but still sucks. Really like the vocalists
#2 = poop
Digging: Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
"Shit band lol"
Fuck you, Alex McInnis, fuck you.
Nooooooooo Chuck you don't like this band tell me no?
I'm sorry man Woe, Is Me will always have a very important and special place in my heart. They are the band that got me into heavier music. And by heavier music I'm referring to metalcore, hardcore, post-hardcore those kinda things
Who on earth rec'd woe is me for metalcore to you?
I'll give you a pass because you know ABR > every one else
nobody I found them on my own haha
they are pre-sputnik band for me. which is why idgaf if ppl think they are gay or generic.
Ah I see. My first segue into heavy was technically Linkin Park like right after Hybrid Theory came out because of the skramz. Then my first real fall into hardcore was probably Bury Your Dead lol I don't know I can't remember that far back
It's ok you didn't know at the time you were ignant
haha yeah I was just a wee little 16 year old, if anything at least these guys' vocals are superb. Well with Michael and Tyler anyway, Hance was okay. Looking forward to Issues
I'm actually pretty stoked for this! Tyler's a great vocalist, as well as Mike. They have the original guitar players back...which means their stuff will feature finger-tapping/harmonic leads, instead of the recent chug-chug/0-3-5 stuff Woe, is Me has put out.
They need to sign Rest.
You need to shut up.
Wow, way to be a douche.
I'm sorry that I'm cutting his trolling attempt down before it turns into a shit storm.
It's not trolling. He's voicing his opinion, I hope that band gets the best.
Drummer was one of my least favorite individuals in this scene
dude seems like such a tool, not a suprise they formed a new band w/o him
Digging: Weatherbox - American Art
He played the same fill at the end of every measure when I saw them live. I laughed so hard
The drummer sucks so much, not to mention they were completely electronic on their debut. Sounded like shit
this dude any good
From what I can tell, he's not bad at all. He's doing studio drums for a band in this video:
Again, he's good...but his fills/play style seems pretty generic. But then again he was just doing studio drumming/not
involved in the writing process. I'm sure the new material from "Issues" is going to be awesome!
don't forget austin is the reason of machines broke up too.
Guess Tyler Carter realized pop wasn't his flavor.
