The new Matisyahu album “Spark Seeker” was released yesterday to seemingly little fanfare. With a new clean shaven look Matisyahu releases his Fifth LP. It was produced by Kool Kojak and is said to feature “reggae, hip-hop and electronica layered over Middle Eastern instruments and rhythms”. It is available for purchase at Amazon or on iTunes or you can hit up the link below for the stream.

Half way through and it is pretty damn good so far. I'm more partial to the fire and brimstone
immediacy of the earlier stuff but this is really good. No surprise it is lighter like "light".

haven't heard anything from this guy in a long time

i dug some of his older stuff than he got really mainstream and unappealing for a while

i don't know where he's at now but ima give this a listen since he has potential sometimes

I think you are probably talking about "Youth" which I was not a fan of myself. If you can dig his transition to the "Light" album you will like it. If you haven't heard light and like this then I rec you listen to it too.
