Mikey leaves Close Your Eyes

In March 2012 it was announced that Close Your Eyes vocalist Shane Raymond would be leaving the band due to physical reasons. The band recruited Mikey Sawyer in May 2012 as their new singer, although the alliance didn't last long as Close Your Eyes have announced that as of July 2012 they are no longer performing with Sawyer stating that "he didn't fit the band".

Kinda glad he left. His other band is really gay and honestly probably ruined CYE. Not that I think anyone can replace Shane.

He was definitely what made them distinct but I think they can carry on with the right replacement, might even bring the unclean vocals back
