Oakland, CA stoner trio High On Fire have been forced to cancel their tour with the Rockstar Mayhem Festival as vocalist/guitarist Matt Pike enters treatment for alcohol rehabilitation.

sad face :[
best of luck to him. rough stuff.
Digging: Neil Davidge - Halo 4 Original Soundtrack
he'll never stop drinking as long as he tours.
Digging: Waxahatchee - American Weekend
well looks like the sidestages of mayhem are gonna be full of gay this year :[
Damn...beat me to the news...
he needs more weed
Digging: Ovid's Withering - Scryers Of The Ibis
aw man, I was looking forward to seeing these guys. hopefully they do a headliner and come to buffalo, that'll make up for it
Maybe after the rehab he will smoke massive amounts of weed and make a sleep album like we all want.
His stomach was growing at a rapid pace. He was extremely bloated in recent years. It's for the best, and wish him a speedy recovery.
Well at least there is Slayer.
Digging: XX - Very Wild Night
^I feel bad for you....
I thought these stoner metal guys could all handle their alcohol. Sad to be faced with the reality that our bearded beer gods are just as troubled as the rest of us.
Digging: Lake Of Blood - Omnipotens Tyrannus
drugs are bad
Digging: Supercell - ZIGAEXPERIENTIA
Digging: L'Orange and Stik Figa - The City Under The City (Instrumental)
lightweight can't handle his booze
I wonder how he's going to smoke reefer while in rehab.
FUCK! I just found out about this tour and High on Fire would have sealed the deal for me to go. I still may, but I can't believe Motorhead will share the stage with Asking Alexandria. What's the world coming to? Should be an interesting mix of people at these shows. The old and the young metalheads.
Get Better Matt!
This sucks. Hope Matt gets better soon. Better to recognize a problem and deal with than let it linger and kill you in the end
nice now they're not gonna be stuck in this retarded tour
doesnt he realise that not being heavily under the influence could effect his whole metal being. i mean just ask James Hetfield if rehab was the answer..
they didn't cancel a tour, they dropped off of a tour.
there's a difference.
Smoke more, drink less. Problem solved
God fucking dammit, was convinced to see this tour with some friends. Going to suck more dick without this band.
whaaaaaat i literally just saw him in Sleep on the 5th.
what a puss. is he getting fiesty everytime he hits 6+ jamo's?
These guys are playing Heavy TO festival, hopefully that still happens?!
@asaf: that's a good attitude, tough guy
Slipknot? What's wrong with slipknot, As I Lay Dying and Slayer? Well the first two bands are....well, just not good and Slayer should be cool as long as they don't play new material the whole time. This sucks about HoF though. Was gonna see them in a club in Pennsylvania in the summer. Oh well, still got the Melvins and Helmet. Will rule
well this was quite obvious this was coming. I hope he can get his shit together and get back out there and even if he can't get his shit together he better still get out there!
