Digging: Deafheaven - Sunbather
|

CAN'T FUCKING WAIT
|
| |
2 hours is too long for my liking.
|
| |
I stand corrected. Gladly.
|
| |
this sounds like too much tbh
Digging: Deafheaven - Sunbather
|
| |
too much Swans? no
|
| |
It's gonna rule.
|
| |
Another album over 2+ hours? Jesus. I think that's a little overbearing, considering there's only 11 tracks.
|
| |

Digging: Summoning - Old Mornings Dawn
|
| |

Digging: Soap and Skin - Sugarbread
|

|
| |
old news sorta new about this ages ago, also Dead Can Dance album on aug 9 so will be a nice post-punk year
|
| |
Yeah, because Swans still make post-punk.
|
| |
Lol. Swans and DCD have many other influences that go way beyond the standardized post-punk genre tag
|
| |
i know it's difficult to classify but I seriously have no specific tag for either of them. Fuck me and my tagging I guess. Still doesn't make me less pumped.
|
| |
sounds like Soundtracks pt.2..
actually heard that is was really a 4 hour drone album..
Digging: The National - Trouble Will Find Me
|
| |
this will be fucking amazing.
|
| |
This might rule but the length seems even more daunting than Sountracks.
They all look like murder-fetishists.
Digging: Polkadot Cadaver - Last Call in Jonestown
|
| |
unimaginably psyched
ben frost is also gonna be on there i think
Digging: Alex G - Trick
|
| |
Just got into these guys and have only heard Soundtracks... and My Father... so I'm pretty excited about this. Not too psyched about Jarboe but I've only heard'em with Neurosis and that was a little soso but we'll see.
|
| |
Aoty easily.
|
| |
so so excited.
Digging: Daft Punk - Random Access Memories
|
| |
I'm pretty excited.
|
| |
I am so excited for this. Gonna be AOTY for sure.
Digging: William Basinski - The Disintegration Loops II
|
| |
Really looking forward to this. I was hoping that the album versions of the new tracks they did live wouldn't be trimmed down, and the thing about the track lengths would imply they didn't.
Extremely excited.

samples :]
|
| |
Can't really sample something this massive.
|
| |
those track-lengths are boner-inducing. haven't even listened to the samples yet.
|
| |
samples sound so good
|
| |
that they do. but yeah there's no fucking way this is gonna be indicative of what this as a whole is gonna sound like.
anticipating this album to be on a "Lift Your Skinny Fists..."-type of scale.
|
| |
It really has the potential to be amazing. Fingers crossed.
(Late to say this but I find this entry's lack of mention of Alan Sparhawk and Mimi Parker of Low being featured on this album disturbing)
|
| |
guess what leaaaaked... :]
|
| |
you're bad! ]:
|
| |
Album cover is fucking hilarious.
