Not that bad actually. Better than most of III anyway.
|

yup, yup, I approve. I was fairly enamoured with these guys when they released their first album but shortly after saw them do a truly terrible live show, which ended up turning me off their II and III records. Boy was it a bad show. I dunno if they've improved since then or if they just had an off night.

better than anything off III
Digging: Hum - Downward Is Heavenward

sounds like a return to form, thank god. :')

Song is so utterly RAD! 5/5
Digging: Queens of the Stone Age - ...Like Clockwork

Extremely good. This makes me nostalgic about old Billy Talent.
|

I'm glad the first album of the new trilogy sounds like I.
Still wondering what they're gonna call the next three albums, A B and C?
Anyway this really is better than most of III
Digging: The Computers - Love Triangles Hate Squares

@ Kent I saw them live 4 years ago and they were pretty good

Okay they got the Metalstyles seal of approval nothing can go wrong any more
|
| |
Dat bassline.
|
| |
Okay they got the Metalstyles seal of approval nothing can go wrong any more I've always liked these guys tbh. I even thought III was rather decent. "Turn Your Back" off that one is my jam.
|
| |
Yea III wasn't bad but it sounded rather uninspired
|
| |
I don't know if I'd use "uninspired", I'd personally say they were just on cruise control.
|
| |
I didn't mind III that much either, II is their strongest imo.
|
| |
Yes that's what I mean by 'uninspired' lol
they didn't know what to do next so they just started dabbling in place instead of moving on like you'd expect from such a young and talented (lol) band
|
| |
To me, also because they're such a young band (technically), the sound hadn't grown old yet, so there's the main reason as to why I liked III. I didn't mind them being on cruise control.
|
| |
not as good as saint veronica, that song was awesome.
their best ins surrender though
|
| |
@Kent: After their first album they were a terrible live band but they've really improved since.
|
| |
Boring

Pretty good. I'm looking forward to the new record. Ian D'Sa is the man.

Digging: Bad Rabbits - American Love

That was pretty good Owantjaaaa. Definitely interesting to hear him do lead vocals. The video of him dueling brownsound wasn't too shabby either.
|
| |
Is this the song where he's like "Down on your knees you don't look so tall"? Cause that ones coo.
Digging: This Will Destroy You - Young Mountain
