Good song, as is each heavy song on the album. The ambient tracks are a bit of a turn-off but their pretty great as well.
Digging: Fall of Efrafa - Inle
oli sounds weak though
edit: I take this back
Digging: Architects - Lost Forever // Lost Together
oh Rosa go keep listening to SYL
oli actually sounds better than usual. he doesnt sound like a fucking dog anymore. and song is
ok. sorta boring. not really sure what to think about this album so far.
Digging: Xanthochroid - Blessed He With Boils
yeah, actually I was just gonna say Oli's lows were pretty good. And someone on YouTube mentioned that Oli stopped doing the false-chord technique and starting using the fry technique.
yeah i saw that. even though now he sounds a lot like sam now
yeah. And obv Sam uses fry as well
Band sort of sucks.
i thought Oli was for sure going to ruin this song.
I was wrong, he actually didnt sound half bad.
i had the same thoughts
This is quite a bit better than I thought it would be. Vocals were passionate enough and the breakdown was integrated into the song well. Album may prove to be more than just average if it's consistant.
Its different. But flows well
Good song, nice to see Oli isnt forcing has growls anymore, not as low but they fit his vocal style.
Digging: Animals As Leaders - The Joy of Motion
so who is going to be the new guitar player for these guys?
One of the guitar players from Sylosis apparently.
ah yes! i though i wasn't the only one who heard that. i heard it was Josh Middleton
band is so gay
his vocals were quiet compared to sams
Love the melodic part at the end.
Was that oli throughout the whole song? Sounded much better than his usual stuff
no it wasnt
oli was in that song?
Oli got outshined lol
Oli sounds so fucking bad on this wtf
Digging: Chevelle - La Gargola
I enjoyed Oli's part
so who else has heard the new album?
noooo why did oli change his screamssss. noooo
song is good.
I really hope he doesnt sound like that on the next BMTH album cause this style with high pitched screams on this song is not suiting him well
i liked his dying dog screams, they sounded so emotional
oli sounds better. how could anyone not like the change. he sucked before
He forced his screams so much, especially his growls. He was tearing his vocal chords apart, I like the new vocals because he's screaming within his range more now.
I thought oli sounded pretty bad too, but so does drew on 'Outsider Heart'. I think its the production.
The way oli screams on this song fits the part well imo, it's a nice change up from sam.
Fucking Bring Me the Horizon. So goddamn shit. Nice song though.
Oooh I actually like this.
holy shit, oli sounds so fucking different
i dig it
One of my least favorite tracks off the album. Sam's voice is perfectly good, I dont know why they feel the need to include extra singers sometimes...just dont feel like they add anything to the songs.
Digging: The Body - I Shall Die Here
bet this blows
I didn't notice Oli's part when I first listened to it. Kinda good.
This is solid, nothing more nothing less.
so surprised by oli's lows. his new style of screaming is getting better. looking forward to the new record
It's still on YouTube I think, its good shit.
The album leaked a long time ago.
Didnt like it as much as these colours dont run but still good. Oli was fine.
oli was in that song?
Digging: Cult Leader - Nothing For Us Here
Still haven't heard a riff that compares to basically anything on Hollow Crown
The whole new album is basically Hollow Crown/Here and Now worship.
^well considering those are the bands last two albums, that doesnt surprise me.
"Still haven't heard a riff that compares to basically anything on Hollow Crown"
well good thing this is daybreaker
this is less boring than some of their other stuff
This is pretty tasty
i hate the inclusion of cleans in every fucking song
The end ruled though. Post Oli was cool.
Josh Middleton is not the new permanent replacement. He's just filling in for their tour.
^ this is true
Josh is way too skilled to become their full time guitarist, also it would probably result in a massive change of sound in Architects' music if this did happen.
Yeah agreed. Well idk what being skilled has to with it. Have you heard Nightmares?
Too good for Architects I mean, coming from a Sylosis fanboy, though.
Yeah, enjoyed it but Ruin is my favourite Architects release.
Ahhh gotcha lol.
Come on Chuck, Ruin kills Hollow Crown with ease.
Never understood why most users think it's their magnum opus.
For me it's
HC - 5
Nightmares - 4.5
Ruin - 4
THAN - 3
So they are pretty close
Architects with Sylosis-esque riffing would probably sound awesome as fuck.
I wish Sam had his Ruin-screaming range back. He had some pretty sick screams on that album. Just listen to Low and tell me he didn't sound ballsy as fuck on that song.
I actually like THAN more than Daybreaker
Digging: YG - My Krazy Life
terrible song, this album is shaping up to be very average
oli sounds like sam except not as good. Song is pretty cool though at least its heavier
lol sam didnt scream on ruin
Sam's vocals are a shadow of what they used to be.
lol Sam did scream on Ruin
Yeah Apollo the albums alright.
I've pretty much decided that I don't really like this band besides like 2 songs and that will probably never change. Haven't listened to Daybreaker yet but it's probably not even worth it.
wow this band just continues to revolutionize metalcore with each new album i mean wow how is this possible
lol sam didnt scream on ruin
haha tha fuck he did
but yeah sam is not as good as he was on ruin.
best in HC IMO
not surprised douche.
HC and Nightmares fuck yeah.
