Testament's upcoming album, Dark Roots of Earth, will be released on July 27th in Europe and July 31st in America though Nuclear Blast Records. The album will be released as a standard CD as well as a special CD/DVD combo containing a few bonus tracks.

I'm really looking forward to this. Testament is my favorite Thrash Metal band, and their last album was awesome.

I'm also eagerly anticipating their cover of Powerslave. I wonder how different that will sound with Testament's performance...
