American prog thrashers Prototype have revealed details with reference to their new album, titled Catalyst and set for release in 2012.

Production duties were held by the band, mixing was undertaken by critically acclaimed producer Neil Kernon and artwork was realized by Travis Smith.

The album revolves around a science fiction concept story, while its temporal length spans around 60 minutes.


The album's track list is as follows:

i'm sure these guys would still be unknown if not for guitar hero

They had one of the more difficult songs on GHIII; the reason I and most likely 99 percent of everyone who has heard of them checked them out.

Continuum was very solid.

Really surprised not more people on sputnik know of these guys, since they are pretty much a non-death metal version of cynic/atheist. Album is probably going to be awesome.
