Thought this would be a pic of Corgan's ego but I forgot that it might be too big for the cover.

This actually is shaping up to be pretty good. It's definitely the most sincere stuff Corgan's done in a while. It's too bad Chamberlain isn't drumming, but the new guy is not too shabby.

I'm glad to see some positive reactions, I've been bragging this album up big time. These definitely
are the most sincere songs Corgan has written for the Pumpkins in a long while, and they fit perfectly
into a set of songs like "Starla", "Muzzle", "Window Paine" and "Geek USA", which to me is a great
indication that Corgan is regaining his old songwriting spark.

He totally is. There's a picture of him wearing an ISIS shirt. He's totally gay for him.

Billy Corgan and a bunch of new unknown but talented young band members doesn't equal Smashing Pumpkins.

This isn't Smashing Pumpkins...

This is Billy's Kids.

who the hell approves the pictures posted for bands? it's like hot-tub time machine, and when i think of smashing pumpkins, that's kinda what they look like in my brain. but then i realize none of those people are actually in the band anymore, and in reality they look very different.

From hearing the songs live on youtube, I can tell Billy's writing better since Zeitgeist. I've been watching them play the old songs recently and he does them terribly. He rushes to the end of every line and in songs where he would normally scream, he hardly does a yell. It's really lame, he doesn't even get into it The new songs though, he was actually getting into them, his singing improved and he was moving around. On Zeitgeist his vocals were worst than ever, he didn't even sound like Billy Corgan, he sounded like an aging cat with a stuffed up nose and peanut butter in his throat. Now he's got that nasally growl back when he gets loud. He's got the sharpness back and I think that's what he needed. To me the songs were like The experimental-ness of Melon collie meets the psychedelic atmosphere of Gish but with a more mellow ambient feel. The good riffs are also back, one song was really in your face and fast, cant remember the title though. The best song I heard was "Pale Horse". Brought to mind The Cure. I really enjoyed. The album will be better than Zeitgeist, we will just have to wait and see how much better. Let us Pray that the production doesn't kill it.
