Meanwhile, the whole album is already out.
really liking this album
Someone said It sounded like Scott Walker.
I hope that someone is right
albums ok, a weak 3.5
track gets more interesting towards the end but fuck me is it boring
Only way I can listen to the first song without getting bored is to be blazed and watching the video.
Digging: Godspeed You! Black Emperor - 'Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress'
Well, that was creepy as fuck
How does the rest of the album compare?
Digging: Sleepytime Gorilla Museum - Of Natural History
Track is pretty boring tbh, and its fucking disappointing. Hope the rest of the album is better
That was an awesome video, the church burning at the end was pretty solid.
What does the rest of their shit sound like? While that was somewhat boring, I kind of enjoyed the song.
all sort of in the same vein, there are really good moments, followed by a bunch of meh material
yea this is just about a 3.5
Should have known this song wouldn't be too great.
Very very very slow and minimalist. I thought they would have picked up the pace a tad.
video is cool though
there's one song on the album that has drums, but it's weird they're wayy in the background, but it's not too bad
booooooring. pretty disappointed tbh.
Ya, a lot more "percussion" than actual drums or beat on this record.
k, just listened through the whole thing and its an overall a 3.0 id say. Lock Howl, Hag and Drag Ropes are pretty good. But the whole thing just isn't interesting enough.
Sounds sweet you guys, but maybe it's a grower, this time next month you'll be listening to it non-stop you guys
I actually dug the song quite a bit. I enjoyed it more than I thought. And the video was cool.
Very nice video. Boring song.
Call it boring all you want. The album's way better than Grace for Drowning.
look at this angel faggot everyone wow what a disgusting faggot
Hey, look, it's Not Cone.
Definitely the standout track of the album for me. Video is awesome as well.
ITT people get butthurt because it isn't a metal album. Fucking great stuff.
Song's pretty good. It's definitely a grower, I've listened to it a few times now and it gets better with each listen. Haven't listened to the rest of the album yet, hope it doesn't dissapoint.
Boring to some is beautiful to others. Mikael and Steven obvioulsy focused on the overall atmosphere the music creates, not the immediate appeal that most poeple crave for.
Music is about context. Lay down in a dark room and listen to this with crystal clear sound headphones.
Not a jab or anything at those who aren't digging this; taste in music isn't debatable. Just hoping to shed some light on how to enjoy what I think is a work of art that is well worth discovering.
I really dug this, the creepy atmosphere it gives off is awesome.
where's the fucking metal?!?!?!?!?!?!!??!?!?!!!!!!
Metal up your ass
