No complaints with this one, best so far from Daybreaker. Except maybe the "More Than Meets The Eye" line, etc etc Transformers joke.

Better then the last song. However, Sam's vocals have really downgraded and these guys are really pushing it with adding in clean vocals. I hope these 2 tracks are the weakest ones on the album.

I like the more technical sound of the guitar and while the cleans are good, they sound a bit uninspired. I have to agree with Breakdown, get back to the Ruin sound. I fucking love Ruin.

Cleans on "hollow crown" were always so special and powerful when they were used (sparingly and full of sorrow/emotion). Throwing cleans in for the sake of it ruins the entire effect. This just doesn't do it for me and I'm a little disappointed. I had high hopes for this.

I'd still peg this as slightly above-average instrumentation on what would otherwise be pretty passable.

That being said it's still quite enjoyable.

agree that the systematic inclusion of clean vocals in every song is getting tired. They lack the passion of those heard in Ruin & Hollow Crown.

Yeah, I think why the clean vocals worked on Hollow Crown was because they were used sparingly. Not to say Sam is a bad singer (quite the opposite) but yeah, it's like, too much of a good thing, y'know?

You only really appreciate something if it's seldom.

I'm really bothered by the fact that instrumentally, the band is back to a more hollow crown kind of sound, but Sam is still stuck on The Here and Now kind of vocals.

AILD are really good at this. Their melodies aren't particularly amazing on their own but they're
really well used. TDWP can do it too.

Architects' new stuff is feeling a bit forced. Even THAN felt natural. I think I actually liked the
first songs off that album more. I'm not sure about this one.

Sounds like Rocksound are indecisive bastards.

That's exactly how I think the album is gonna be. Its obvious they want to appeal to all the people whining and moaning about how they want another Hollow Crown so they decided to try and make Hollow Crown 2.0. I wish these faggots would just put out another Nightmares.
