Continuing in the vein of their previous releases Digital Hardcore group Rabbit Junk have released a new single for free download through the bands recording label. Entitled "The Boy with the Sun in his Eyes" the track is described as an epic 6-minute ambient rock anthem that draws equal influences from Peter Gabriel and the current sounds of the electronic dance music scene; the download as includes an instrumental version. The songs can be downloaded at the link below.
Ambient rock anthem, eh?
Digging: Thank You Scientist - Maps of Non-Existent Places
I've not listened to this yet either, but it's cool that they're still putting songs out for free.
Digging: Marilyn Manson - Born Villain
Either way, Willie will be pleased
Bubble is a sweet track. This is different but still cool!
Song is just okay to me...I actually kind of wish that ending where it got all dance-y and heavy was how the whole song was.
I hope it's not similar to the stuff on the Cyanotic EP. It was ok, but not what I want from the band.
Digging: Sara Bareilles - The Blessed Unrest
I thoroughly enjoyed their first two albums.
I don't think it will be that laid back, but I forgot to play it tonight so I can't verify.
But the sound it too much from the 70s
It's more laid back than I thought, but it's fun to see them change up their sound a bit.
I'm really digging the vocals on this, call me crazy but they remind me of some classic rock acts.
