Video, song, lyrics, and album are great. I usually hate most djent and it took me a long time to give these guys a chance, but I'm glad I did. That space background playing behind the band in the vid is sick, would be awesome if they used it live.
Digging: PVRIS - Paris
Brb have to go jizz several times to this.
Digging: Everley - The Tyger and the Lamb
Wasn't expecting much of this, but it wasn't too bad. Still not seeing the hype I guess.
They're just legit as fuck. There's been so much shit metalcore for so long it's nice to see a diamond in the rough.
Love. This. Band.
Hell to the yes!
Digging: Every Time I Die - From Parts Unknown
Wait so what is so special about this band again?
I concur. AOTY'11 for me. Such a refreshing album in the metalcore/djent genres. Although, the album does get a little meh on a full listen through, the first half of the album is nearly flawless. The video is meh IMO; they should have focused more on the story behind the guy - it was so abstract it was hard to find very much substantial meaning.
"Wait so what is so special about this band again?"
They are a metalcore band that doesn't suck.
might be my favorite song off the album
Sweet video, I like how specific parts of it related to the lyrics.
Definitely one of the stronger tracks on the album. Great video too, but damn is the music ever loud on it.
Digging: Anberlin - Lowborn
great album. video is pretty sweet too
I was hoping for a video for Exposure but I guess this works.
seeing 'em with august burns red next month. should be gooood
"Sweet video, I like how specific parts of it related to the lyrics."
Whoa, crazy shit
Saw these guys support Parkway on their recent Aussie tour. I was extremely impressed at their live performance. Oh and this fucking rules!.
Digging: Rise Against - The Black Market
Seeing these guys with August Burns Red next month but haven't bothered to listen to them.
these guys are from my suburb, vocalist is the most down to earth guy ever. brilliant band.
not as good as tool, the true godfathers of djent
Nice try shitdick, but djent isn't a genre.
Nor is Tool even considered "djent" in the first place
Digging: Within the Ruins - Phenomena
awesome song and video
