inb4 Deviant
|
| |
Already? Holy Crap!
|
| |
It's good, if you don't like this then you don't like "Submotion Orchestra". I'm not really sure what you were expecting AnarchistFish.
|
| |
oh shit nice.
not only did i not expect this so soon, but this is pretty different from the sound on their first album. kinda 80s pop sounding. not bad by any means, though.

| |
"inb4 Deviant"
why did I know this comment would already be posted here?
|
| |
This ain't your first rodeo cowboy.
|
| |
It's good, if you don't like this then you don't like "Submotion Orchestra". idk man, this is a pretty big departure from the stuff on Finest Hour
But I approve! Love the nu-jazz feel.
|
| |
It is still clearly the same group... are you kidding me.

Well, yeah it's not like they started playing metal or something. But you'd go "wtf" if this track was in the middle of Finest Hour.
|
| |
It may not belong as a part of Finest Hour (which I'm not sure I agree with) but it certainly is no
great departure. It has plenty of the hallmarks of the music on Finest Hour. It would not occur to me
that someone might like one and not the other.
|
| |
I'm not really sure what you were expecting AnarchistFish.
wasn't expecting anything in particular, I'm just not digging
definitely a departure from Finest Hour
|
| |
Well, I sit corrected.
It seems others even agree with you.
|
| |
Okay, fine. It's "a bit of a departure" from their previous material.
That main synth line that drives most of the track is not like anything they've done before. I love it, but I can understand liking the group and not this song. It's a different sound.
|
| |
I have already accepted failure Aso.
It is low to kick an opponent while he is down sir.
Changing the main synth line makes it a different song not a complete departure.
|
| |
Oh man new Submotion Orchestra album? Sign me up
|
| |
Great stuff
|
| |
can I do anything to get Finest Hour pressed on vinyl pleeeaaaseee
song kicks ass btw
|
| |
Nothing about this track is anything different for them at all. Sounds like they're almost trying to pull off a live garage tune
|
| |
Finally, a sense talker.
|
| |
What. Deviant. If you heard the first 25 secs of this (minus the "Submotion Orchestra preview" obvsly lol), you'd think of them?
|
| |
Definitely, reminds me a lot of 'Secrets'
|
| |
Yeah, when the beat comes in. Makes me think of "Always" as well because of the rhodes. It's just that first part that has a new vibe. Whatevs.
|
| |
I believe this is going to be an EP and not a full-length, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm fairly sure I heard that somewhere.
|

"I believe this is going to be an EP and not a full-length, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm fairly sure I heard that somewhere"
Maybe, but when they put the link up on their fb they said "This is the new single from our next album", so I just went with that for the time being
|
| |
this song is really cool, especially that trumpet
|
| |
Saw them play this live last night. It was awesome.
|
| |
Gorgeous
