Wow, this is a pretty big change. I liked it at first with the all cleans, but the harsh vocals seem out place. Probably in the minority here with liking this better than their old stuff.

STYG's new song is much better imo, the clean vocals are a nice change. This however, is a pile of gash.

STYG is a better band outright, and their new song doesn't even touch No Cover, let alone the rest of THD.

Srscore lolol. This would be pretty alright if he could sing well. He just sounds sorta flat and unemotional. I know they're trying to lean more towards the punk side of pop punk but this just sounds bland as fuck. It's like they gave up on making music and are just sorta riding the pop punk wave -____- Coming soon to a city near you with Such Gold and Man Overboard.

I don't get this site sometimes. People flame a band for not changing up their sound, if YD still sounded the same as The Blood Stays on the Blade they'd get accused of becoming stale. But when a band does change it up, instead of applauding the risk, people just flame the band for the change they've made, and say that they should make more music like their old material. There's just no pleasing some people.

They wouldn't get shit for changing their sound if they didn't fucking suck at the style they switched to.

Common sense, retard.

But they don't. This is as good as Such Gold or Basement or any of those type of bands. If a new band made this exact song it wouldn't be received anywhere near as badly. Or maybe it's just the fanboy in me, I dunno.

No one would complain if they didn't change their sound, as long as they were good at it (which they were). They got big as a hardcore band but that doesn't mean they'd be good as a pop punk one. If you honestly think this is a good song, you don't listen to enough music. If an established pop punk band released this song, they'd still be getting negative reaction. It's just, simply, a bad song.

Have you guys seen this?

A statement from Daniel 'Oz' Osborne:
"I would never normally write/post something like this, as nothing has really affected me to this extent before. There are a few things I would like to clear up in regards to Your Demise's past. I'm not going to talk about everything, but I feel the time now to mention my view of our previous singer. Towards the end of his time in the band, my confidence was at an all time low, and the final straw was when he broke my collar bone and gave me internal bleeding from kicking me on stage. Not many people know this apart from my band and family because I keep personal stuff to myself.
All the people saying bring him back and giving Ed a hard time is ridiculous. That person is not a god, or the leader of UK hardcore.
Ed has been in the band for 3 years now and it's been the best time of my life; since Ed has been in the band, the band has grown closer and tighter together and we are like brothers.
I wanted to get this off my chest coz it's been brewing up inside me for years, and I'm not one to bad mouth, but you need to know the facts. Yourdemise 2000 and forever xx"
