Meh, never got into them.
Liked their first cd, although it was a bit generic. Hopefully they progress further with this release, they have potential.
I can obviously understand why people wouldn't like this band, but I think they're awesome. Pretty damn excited for a new album.
Digging: Drawn - A New World?
Hopefully they up the technical skills
Why put the three new songs on the first album? obviously just a cash grab >.>
Open your mind before your mouth! m/
The video for Immaculate Misconception is pretty badass.
"The Pennsylvania based metalcore act Motionless in White have announced both that they are starting to work on their sophomore album."
Didn't the staff just make a big deal about how they were going to start strictly moderating staff articles? This sentence doesn't even make sense.
I bet these guys suck
The video for Immaculate Misconception is pretty badass
hopefully they can tone down the cheese and up the technicality a lil bit.
Youre just a trend just a fuckin disease
Can't wait for this. Don't get why they're adding 3 bonus tracks to Creatures though.
Also Dragula isn't a previously unreleased track. This came out months before creatures did:
fuck yeah! i've been hoping to hear this announcement sometime this year.
Digging: The Growlers - Hung at Heart
stoked, good band
I've met the lead singer, seriously nice guy.
Don't really like these guys, they always seemed like a BVB wanna-be.
Looking forward to the new one. 'Creatures' is an awesome record.
What's wrong with putting 'New' at the beginning of the headline?
Actually really like these guys, bit generic but they have amazing video's and some cool lyrics.
The video for Immaculate Misconception is pretty badass
Also the lead singer had a massive row with Jonny Craig, and totally burned him.
gonna b awsome
Never understood why this band was accepted by Sputnik.
its one of the few metalcore bands that i actually like, even tho they totally look like posers
I'd much rather be hearing that Northlane is working on a new album than this gay band.
this band goes against most of my musical beliefs but i thoroughly enjoy them
That Dragula cover rocks
Fuck yeah it does. So much better than most covers you hear from these kinds of bands.
Re-releases piss me off. Just make a new album.
^They are? Anyway, never knew these guys were from PA.
When I first saw this band they opened their set with the office theme.
I am so fucking sick of re releases just put out a new album
Never understood why this band was accepted by Sputnik
"I'd much rather be hearing that Northlane is working on a new album than this gay band"
could be a 3-3.5
they do come across as nice people but that doesn't make me like their music
JUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN, JUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN, DA DUH DA DUH, DA DUH DA DUH, JUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN, JUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN, DA DUH DA DUH, DA DUH DA DUH.
Huh, never heard that before.
go listen to those two songs you like from asking alexandria.
nah they're kinda boring now
"BVB are in it
for the looks and the money, MIW have actual substance."
They why do the band try so hard to look the way they look.
They look like they put about the same amount of effort black veil brides to try to look like that. And for what? To appeal the hot topic kids?
BVB should want to be MIW
MIW - band who wears make up for expression.
BVB - band who wears make up for a gimmick.
kinda interested in the new album.
Best shit ever =D wonder whats the title going to be and when it'll drop
In an interview of Andy from Bvb, he has stated
"... I think in terms of sound and image, obviously growing up we idolized bands like WASP, MÖTLEY CRÜE and KISS and we also had a deep love for bands like METALLICA and MEGADETH. For us it’s blending the idea with theatrical rock like ALICE COOPER-style and more heavy metal sound that we were always interested in. It was never a conscious effort to wear makeup or dress up, that’s what bands looked like and we thought it was cool. The sound and the image was always with us since day one and we always wanted to do it."
In your opinion, would this be a valid reason for wearing a ton of make-up?, for a theatrical effect?
Compare that to an interview with Chris from Miw
"Chris Motionless: Probably since 8 or 9th grade, when I heard of AFI, then got into the Misfits I started wearing all black and makeup and everything, it became what I personally liked. Then, when I met these guys and as the band progressed we just kind of took it to extremes, more and more extreme. It’s not doing anything that’s completely unique, but we don’t want to be basic or bland at what we do. Anyone can wear makeup, and it’s just wearing makeup, but we strive to get it to be a little more like WOAH!"
He seems to just wear it just cause. Does he have a valid reason?
BVB look like they wear makeup just to appeal to scene girls and look 'attractive'. MIW don't really seem to do that, it's almost as if they intentionally (for want of a better word) make themselves look more ugly and unappealing. That's all I can interpret
Chris has a huge mouth
Dug the shit out of Creatures for a while. I hope they give the synths a more horror-y vibe, though.
As much as I dislike the huge amount of fangirly attention BVB gets and how overrated they are, I kinda feel like they have as valid of a reason to dress how they do as MIW, but, whatever. Doesn't really matter.
I'm curious as to how much diversity and creativity this record is going to have. They say they want to put out something new but Creatures for the most part was pretty basic.
Their sound doesn't quite justify their over the top image.
Hopefully they don't do the metalcore regress, where they come out with a fairly good debut that's ahead of most of their peers, then run out of ideas and release a chuggy breakdown laden shitty second album.
"Their sound doesn't quite justify their over the top image."
band sucks hard
the way they look doesn't bother me like other bands. dk why.
cos (for the most part) they make themselves look more ugly and horror-esque rather than just making themselves look pretty for the scene girls
