MC5 bassist dies at 68

Michael Davis, bass player for the rock act of MC5 from 1969 to 1972, passed away at the age of 68 due to liver failure.

Michael Davis is the third member from the classic MC5 lineup that passes away, following front-man Rob Tyner (died in 1991) and guitarist Fred ‘Sonic’ Smith (died in 1994).
