As well as featuring the original album in its entirety, the album will contain a second disc featuring the previously released singles 'Tommy's Theme' and 'Could This Be', along with previously released remixes from dubstep duo 16Bit and Excision & Datsik.

Among the host of new material will be a re-interpretation of 'Diplodocus' from NZ drum & bass outfit The Upbeats, a re-working of 'Thursday' by Black Sun Empire, as well as remixes from Current Value and chart-toppers Loadstar.

2nd disc tracklist:
1. Tommy’s Theme
2. Could This Be
3. Stigma (Neosignal Remix)
4. My World (Posij Remix)
5. Split The Atom (Kito Remix)
6. Tommy’s Theme (Loadstar Remix)
7. Soul Purge (Current Value Remix)
8. Diplodocus (Kill The Noise Remix)
9. Tommy’s Theme (Munchi’s Fear Is Weakness Remix)
10. Thursday (Black Sun Empire Remix)
11. Diplodocus (The Upbeats Remix)
12. Alpha Centauri (Excision & Datsik Remix)

why would it be necessary to re-release the original album along with the remixes? seems like they're only doing this so people will actually buy the new tracks and mixes.

You just answered your own question. I mean, why does any band release special editions of their albums? Plus at the end of the day they're giving exposure to up-and-comers like Kito, as well as introducing their fans to other great artists

i don't like it any more when other artists/bands do it either. this is what label samplers are for.

Samplers ain't exactly going to help DJs who wish to spin the tunes

why is that

Because most samplers typically don't have the entire song, just a sample of it. Kinda hard to mix one of those in if you don't have access to the full thing

those are lame samplers then. i really just want them to release a new album is all.

This type of music doesn't work the same as other genres man, it's about the songs not the albums

I'll probably get this somehow. That 16bit remix is sick.

The Kito mix is interesting, like it's definitely the most "out there" thing she's done but can't really say I dig it. BSE and Upbeats ace it though

Tracks 12 and 13 are near classics so I'd probably end up doing the same.

^That's what I meant

Yellow Brick needs some more action though, whether through remixing or just going on an album.

Yeah that track is some kind of beast. Definitely my favourite one in the entire style of music.

I like that one too, but the chord progression mixed with all the filtering and modulation on Yellow Brick cannot be beat. At least when it comes to just personal listening.

Lol Dev, that's the only remix from this I heard. I'm assuming the others are better? Haha
