I mean yeah it has the "power tool bass" but so do a lot of "REEL" dubstep songs, that's not the complaint about "brostep" or whatever you want to call it, it's the same formula that "Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites" actually set itself by doing that buildup with the vocal sample before the bass drop.
