Ex Gallows front man Frank Carter's new project "Pure Love" played their fist show on Febuary 14th (valentines Day) during which they played new songs, footage can be seen here.
i've seen a video of the song anthem and i was very pleased by how good it was. bit odd seeing frank sing it though!
Actually sounds a lot better than I thought it would. Keen to hear proper recordings of their stuff when they surface.
i just like the way that frank looks as if he realy wants to be there, plus the songs are pretty good.
yeah, it looks like he's having fun and really into it which should be the most important thing.
when someone is doing exactly what they want to do and they realy love it then that comes across in the music they make, i have high hopes for this.
is it just me or is frank really trying to fluff up this new project?
band name, song name, fucking balloons....
dunno about this, but it's not very good quality, so we'll see. it'd suck if one really awesome band split to form two shitty ones

i'm much more hopeful about this than new gallows
I've not heard anything by them yet but I'm a little concerned about this. Apparently all of Frank's vocals are clean, which I'm pessimistic about.
I'm one of the few who enjoyed the new Gallows EP.
Good to see that Frank's happy with what he's doing. I can't wait to hear a studio version of this song.
Franks cleans are pretty good tbh, although I'll miss his spitting and punching.
The only cleans I can recall off the top of my head were on 'The Vulture,' and although they were decent I'm not sure that I could take a whole album of them.
i really fucking miss the old gallows.
as far as I know, Frank's brother was the one who did the cleans on The Vulture Act I
I know the quality isn't great and the guy filming was hazing a seizure or something but that gives an idea what Frank's vocal delivery is like in this band. Much better voice than many are probably expecting..
"as far as I know, Frank's brother was the one who did the cleans on The Vulture Act I"
i am certain it was frank as he gave an interview with a newspaper (albeit the Sun :P ) saying "I knew I could sing well enough to get away with it and we just wanted to show people a different way of looking at not only our band but all music."
ah okay, I've been misinformed hahaha
god i cant wait for this
