Will probably listen, even though that one song was not good
First song rules.
Pretty solid. Not as good as Aim and Ignite, but still good.
YES can't wait to listen
Digging: Dirty Projectors - Dirty Projectors
"Will probably listen, even though that one song was not good"
Agreed, but yeah, still listening to it. Not sure if I'll like this as much as Aim and Ignite, but I
can see myself liking this a fair bit.
HAVE YOU HEARD ME LATELY? I'VE BEEN FUCKING CRAZY.
But that autotune bit in Some Nights is fucking atrocious, and the reverby echo thing in Carry On. I
pray to all gods that this producer doesn't work with fun again.
what is this glee or some shit like that?
I dunno about "It Gets Better".
where is WTF?
That song's been cut for a long while.
Digging: Anais Mitchell - Hadestown
This sounds like Glee. I don't care for once, I like this a lot
glad to see positive reviews, was really into aim and ignite. can't wait to get home to check this out
@Homunculusninja: Yeah, it got cut apparently. Which is a shame.
I really enjoyed the album. I prefer it in some ways over Aim & Ignite and don't in others so right now; I'm torn.
It's a lot more mature than Aim & Ignite, that's for sure.
Thats a shame, WTF was good. A lot better than we are young. Which sucks.
^ thats good to hear too, we are young was definitely a pretty disappointing follow up song to their first album but i didn't think it was that bad. rest of the album should be good for me
I'm still not convinced either way on We Are Young. Some days I dig it.
it's not bad, but I can't decide if it's any good yet
But that autotune bit in Some Nights is fucking atrocious
I liked it, but I definitely prefer everything the Format has done over fun.
Digging: Teen Daze - Themes For Dying Earth
where the fun at
Digging: Immolation - Atonement
Plenty of risk packed into this.
I can imagine a lot of people turned off by the new sound but you can't blame them for trying something new (even if it reminds me of 80's pop and Queen)
It's like Queen meets Kanye West...
I don't really like this at all. I think it's because they replaced the cool variety of instruments from Aim and Ignite with a bunch of obnoxious synths.
I got Kanye vibes too.
I think it's awesome. Really something unique. =)
It's like radio-pop but I actually like it.
Never was into this band but this was actually pretty cool
Gonna bump this so hard
Digging: Dave Douglas - High Risk
Digging: Push Over - Demo
"where is WTF?" Seriously, that song was amazing.
One Foot is fucking annoying with that damn trumpet, but I like We Are Young a lot... Haven't heard everything yet though, but my sister loves it.
Aim and Ignite was great (have a 5/5 guilty pleasure rating). Definitely going to listen to this by the end of tonight.
fun. makes me mad.
How can they make so many good songs and then make It Gets Better?
