Yellowcard bassist leaves
2012-02-04 by William Lim | 30 Replies | 2101 Views

Sean O'Donnell, bassist of the Florida pop punk band Yellowcard, has announced via the band's official website, YellowcardRock.com, that he will be departing from the group, as "playing in a band that is on a full time touring schedule demands a balancing act of work and family that I can no longer pull off and still remain happy."

Sean was recruited as part of the band's reunion lineup, replacing former bassist Pete Mosely, who declined to return with the rest of the group upon Yellowcard's reformation in 2010. The band is currently writing their follow-up to When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes (upon which O'Donnell played bass), and are set to enter the studio with producer Neal Avron on March 1st. No replacement for O'Donnell has been announced.

yeah, who cares. you get older and all of a sudden traveling the country with a sub-nfg outfit with a violin player isn't what you thought it would be. or that the concept just doesn't age well mentally.

I figured more people would have cared about the part discussing the NEW ALBUM when I posted this.

And there's always one idiot who quotes "Ocean Avenue" in every Yellowcard thread.

It's also the most widely known. It's like posting "but I'm a creep / I'm a weirdo" in every Radiohead thread.
