New Japandroids Record

Japandroids' Brian King has announced via Facebook that the band intends to put together a new record. From the band's Facebook page:

"HEY GANG // BRIAN HERE (AGAIN) // I FORGOT TO MENTION WE'VE FINALLY RECORDED ENOUGH SONGS FOR A NEW RECORD // I'M LITERALLY FINISHING OFF THE ARTWORK FOR IT RIGHT NOW // DETAILS SOON // X"

The new record will be the band's first release since their 2010 string of EP's that came out via Polyvinyl Records.
