RHCP release Look Around video

2012-01-26 by Raul Stanciu STAFF | 27 Comments
Red Hot Chili Peppers have released their video for the "Look Around" single, off their latest album 'I'm With You'.

There is also a message posted along with the video that reads:

"The Red Hot Chili Peppers are excited to show you their new video for 'Look Around'. The band performed in separate rooms in one take and all four were filmed simultaneously by four cameras in the round!

Each room loosely represented the band members' personalities, so almost all the props and artwork in the rooms came from their personal collections.

Stay tuned for a special version of the video that lets you control which room you want to watch!"

The video can be watched on their official website at http://redhotchilipeppers.com/news/

Song is great but video is kind of just a bloated, rather simplistic artistic premise.

Is Josh really that emo or what?

the "guitar solo" after the first chorus is hilarious.

The room of the new guitar player seems boring. Otherwise, it's a cool video with a clever concept. The song's quite enjoyable too.

They are just monsters of rhythm. I miss the Frusciantiness though.

This is my least favorite song off this album, but it's still decent. Video concept is cool.

Awesome song and interesting video.
Wish they'd do a video for Did I Let You Know.

Omg this. Did I Let You Know is best song on the album for me. Not really bothered what songs are singles for listening purposes (I don't really listen to the radio) but these guys usually have excellent videos so it'd be nice if the song was up to scratch

Yeah Did I Let You Know is my favorite too.

I like this song much better than Rain Dance Maggie.

Yeah Maggie is pretty cool but it has an awful chorus. Actually that's the problem with a lot of songs on this record

That's why Look Around is my least favorite song on the album, that chorus gets old really fast.

Did I let you know is my favourite too, good to see this band still getting some love here. Love the video although I was more pumped about hearing A DOT HACKER EP GETTING RELEASED NEXT MONTH!

also this band needs to tour Australia already...

Fuck yeah really excited about Dot Hacker, shame though there's only one song on the EP that we haven't already heard. Still, there's a full length coming later in the year which should be amazing
