Bloc Party to record 2012-01-03 by Statrick Pickles | 36 Replies | 1920 Views |
Though announcing last year that he would be leaving Bloc Party to pursue a solo career, frontman Kele Okereke has recently announced via radio and via Facebook that he will indeed be accompanying his former bandmates in recording a new record, the group's first release since 2008's Intimacy. According to Okereke's radio testimony, the English indie-rockers have already finished some tracks for the new album and plan to finish recording and release the album before the end of 2012.

O.O
Fuck yeh. Hopefully they've abandoned the dance-beat shit that was Kele's solo stuff and some of their singles (Flux, anyone?). Having said that, Intimacy pt.2 would be nice, too.

Am I the only one wanting Intimacy 2.0?

best band
|

One Intimacy is enough, I mean I like it and all but that style doesn't really play to their strengths. To me their best styles are Silent Alarm and the b-sides from Weekend
