Not a bad name change.

Aww but... but... the State's not cuddly.
|
| |
dammit disney your movie sucked
|
| |
Well as long as they aren't going in an entirely new direction musically, it really has no barring.
I always lol'd at the "similar artists" on last.fm though.
|
| |
at least they gave the movie a chance
|
| |
Oh, c'mon! WHO DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THAT MOVIE?????? [it was a pretty good movie, I guess]
|
| |
I loved the name :'(
|
| |
i officially hate this band now
|
| |
seems like a sensible choice. I always expected some indie pop or some shit every time I looked at
their name. good change
|
| |
brother bear was such a neat name for their music though. now they just have an arbitrary cold name like every other post-hardcore band
|
| |
Still don't know how I feel about this.
|
| |
change the title to state faults, calling them brother bear when they changed their name is just going to confuse people
|
| |
i guess it's early enough in their career that this is allowable, other name was definitely more manly though
|
| |
cool band, and not a bad choice on the name.
|
| |

yeah this :/
oh well band still rules
|
| |
well now that i've listened to them, name change was a bad call.
|
| |
"We also were unaware of the Disney Movie of the same title (we later watched it and were very disappointed, except for Phil Collins, because he can never do wrong.)"
lol, they're wrong though. Phil Collins is quite capable of doing wrong. See: his entire body of work (minus most of Genesis).
|
| |
It's not an arbitrary cold name as much as it's an arbitrary plural noun with no "the" like Departures, Manners, Dangers, etc. At least Harbours changed their name to Only Distance.
|
| |
State Faults is such a lame name compared to Brother Bear though
|
| |
@Aids: Phil Collins owned
@Henchmen: for as much as Harbours HAD to change their name, it was also a smart decision now that they aren't really the band they started out as (members and soundwise now that they're just another melodic chugcore band).
|
| |
What's in now is "The". The strokes. The vines. The hives. The whitestripes... see this isn't new. The Led Zeppelin?? How about... THE STATE FAULTS
