The Red Shore Break Up
2011-10-05 by BroManCaptainGuySirDylan | 47 Comments

Australian Death Metal band The Red shore have called it quits after 7 years of actively playing as a band. The band announced the break up on their facebook page:

"It is with much love, respect & regret that we have to announce the end of The Red Shore. The members have moved onto other projects and different stages of life, which meant that the band could not continue. The Red Shore has been such a large part of our lives and we the members past and present would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all of their love and support over the years, through the good times and the bad, ups and downs. You gave us the strength to carry on and for this we are eternally grateful."

The band's full statement can be read on their facebook page.

I'm quite a large fan of these guys. I thought their last album was poor in comparison, but their EP and first album especially ruled.

Shame. they might have sucked at writing music, but individually, they were all talented. Especially the vocalist.

then that would mean its not a shame, because theyll go onto other projects and hopefully contribute to something worthwhile.

Exactly. When he left I hoped he would join another band as he's a killer vocalist. When I found out he joined Prom Queen I died a little.
