Stray from the Path has released a new song, "Prey" off their forthcoming album, titled 'Rising Sun". The song, which features Cory Brandan of Norma Jean, can be heard on rocksound here:
Rising Sun is due out August 30th.
epic beginning and ending.
i do not dig that artworks at all. song was just ok for me. although i agree the ending was sick.
I like these angry fellows.
I always thought Stray from the Path wasn't bad then I saw them live and fell in love. Dope track, prefer Corey's parts in this song though.
Song ruled. Stoked for this album.
Digging: Weekend Nachos - Still
end is sweet, rest is oh, well thats nice
Song is super cool. I dont listen to Norma Jean, but Cory did a great job.
These guys kill it again. They use guest spots better than anyone, using them in featured parts instead of just giving them a verse to spew nonsense. Love the message too.
song is so good. Can't wait for this album
Digging: Evenings - Yore
song was very okay. surprised to see this getting as much praise as it is
Sick ass song! The breakdown is really sick.
Digging: Down - NOLA
This is really great. And amazing too. Ending is distinctly astounding.
It was alright.
one of the best metalcore bands from this new wave shit scene
Out of the 5 songs I've heard from the album, this one is my favorite. Love this band so much.
I love this.
Is it just me or does corey always sound like he's got a throat full of phlegm?
These guys are so consistant
vocalist is still an animal
Song is good. Nothing too amazing, maybe I'll give it some listens later. If their next album is anything like their first then I'll be more than happy.
I'll be happy with a Make Your Own History part 2.
If this band is your style, than you'll LOVE it. It defiantly is an acquired taste, but if you're lucky enough to understand the sound. It's an incredible experience listening to them.
In short; Song rules.
opening riff sounded identical to Asphyxia Fiend by Dead & Divine.
Hey, anybody else think that the screamer from this band sounds kinda like the guy from Hail Destroyer-era Cancer Bats?
