sucks. but that's not surprising because this band has always been really gay.

I've never been able to get into them cause of their vocalist. If it weren't for him they would be decent.

Vocalist used to grind on my nerves. Then he got a little better and he's awesome live so i began to like them. This isn't their best but it isn't bad.

I never bothered listening to them cause of the vocalist but he is much less grating on this song. Everything else about this song is kind of boring though.

all I know is nfg's achieved a ton in the pop punk community and are highly respected.

which is weird because every other pop punk band are better than them

I have to agree with andcas on this. As big as Green Day and blink are, NFG are also important. They were one of the first pop punk bands to start mixing in hardcore elements.

Yeah i didn't post New New Found Glory deliberately for that reason lol but mod's changed it.

And NFG are quite the trail blazers. But it's funny because as you stated andcas... many bands wouldn't be here without them. Try... The Wonder Years? everyone loves them but I feel like they are cut from the same cloth.

you can't really prove or disprove that the wonder years would exist or not exist because of this band. They're similar and that's about it. This is one band. They did okay but they aren't really anything special. And the wonder years does their thing 100x better tbh

Is being influential in the pop punk genre even a big deal? It's one of the worst, most generic genres of music there is.

wouldn't call these guys influential at all. they just rode blink's coattails along with sum 41, good charlotte, simple plan et al during the late 90's/2000's mainstream love affair with pop-punk.

not really concerned with their background tbh. they make (or made...haven't listened to them in like 8 years) whiny radio-friendly pop music that's almost indistinguishable from those other 3 bands as far as i'm concerned.

Also, they are practically the only band out of the entire shitty pop-punk genre that I can stand.
