Iced Earth announce new album

California power/thrash metal band Iced Earth have announced the release date, track list, and cover art for their forthcoming studio album, "Dystopia". It will come out in Europe on October 17 and the US on the 18th.

The album "will be followed by the most extensive world tour Iced Earth has ever undertaken," starting October 30 in Bochum, Germany.

Something Wicked This Way Comes was such a decent metal album. So was The Dark Saga. They've gone WAY downhill since then though...

They had a string of quality albums with matt, but this band dropped off so much... I hope this doesn't suck, but I'm not optimistic.

I dunno, I always enjoyed what they did with Tim Owens. Hopefully working with someone fresh will have a similar effect.
