Morbid Angel have made the song "Existo Vulgoré" available for free download in order to give fans a taste of their upcoming album, Illud Divinum Insanus.
The band are set to release Illud Divinum Insanus on June 6th (one day later in North America).
I'm listening to the promo right now, and there are going to be some pissed off death metal fans. I think it's pretty good, but I'm not really a fan of the band anyway.
Digging: Sara Bareilles - The Blessed Unrest
I think this album will suffer the same fate as the new Pestilence and Atheist albums...
Digging: Das EFX - Dead Serious
This will not be good.
Loved the new atheist album though
Actually, the songs after track 1 are back to a typical death metal sound. There was hella industrial on the first track though.
Industrial you say? Don't be teasing me.
Hell, I wonder if Nocturnus will be making a comeback.
Yeah, the first track. and apparently one of these songs has Combichrist on it, but I haven't heard that song yet.
Actually, that could be interesting. In a weird way
I read a review for the album that said they tried some weird stuff on a few of the tracks. I'm hoping that this one was the weird one. Still kinda interested to see how the rest of the record turns out. The vocals I do not like so much, though.
Digging: Lake Of Blood - Omnipotens Tyrannus
Not bad. I don't like the drum triggering though.
The song download on this news article is one of the 'normal' ones, actually. I'm currently listening to the one with Combichrist (Destructos vs. the Earth) and it's cool.
I guess I'll have to check this out eventually.
I'd probably review this, but I've never heard a single other Morbid Angel album. Wait, I heard Domination and thought it was ok.
Their first will always be their best. Domination wasn't bad though
new album is baddd
Digging: Pentatonix - PTX Vol. II
Did it leak?
Domination was awesome.
It was like AC/DC playing DM.
yeah it leaked quite a bit ago
maybe all the links got taken down but as of last week it had leaked
Sounds like Behemoth / Domination part two. In other words, garbage.
@ Willie. If you only heard only one Morbid Angel album till now...please don't bother to write a review for the new one
Song was pretty dull
I liked it
Been antsy to hear the cOMBICHRIST TRACK.

That's funny. I think that's exactly what I already said. Thank you faceless citizen for your input...

I like it. MIght be my favorite song on there (For the one time I listened).
@Willie My mistake then if i didn't understand your comment
I have a sneaking suspicion this is gonna suck
That suspicion is probably very correct
I thought it was alright, but this is coming from someone that isn't a big fan of death metal and almost totally unfamiliar with Morbid Angel.
Does it sound something like a 1st tier legendary death metal band would put out?

Probably too many outside influences on the album to call it that.
I think they asked Combichrist to remix the song, but they are not actually featured on the album version
really hated this...
--I think they asked Combichrist to remix the song, but they are not actually featured on the album version--
If that's the case, it's definitely got some industrial influences in the original too.
@Willie: I haven't heard the song or the remix, but according to the band, the remix is more of a techno/dancefloor kind of thing
This leaked so long ago....
Digging: Sacriphyx - Sacriphyx
They put Nevermore up as an mp3 too as well. Not sure if it's downloadable or what though. Pretty much just sounds like Domination era MA for the most part; or at least that track did. I don't think they're really all that crazy anymore since half of the praise was contextual anyways. To be honest, I always preferred Steve Tucker era..
It was alright.
