Funny to see the first date even though I already knew about it being the CD release show. Tiny venue in the middle of nowhere about 30 minutes from my house. Too bad I don't care much for this band, even after seeing them before.

Not bad, but I swear I've heard that main riff in the beginning from some other band...

yeah, objectively BtA isn't a great band but they have a few awesome tracks and they were sort of a gateway band for me, so i'll always have a soft spot for them no matter how many stupid recycled keyboard riffs they put out.

That beginning riff is exactly the same as Born of Osiris's Open Arms to Damnation.

Oh, and I stopped listening to that song about 25 seconds in. It was REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY boring sounding.

"The song's beat and rhythms are incredibly militaristic, but the song also exudes a semi-gothic European atmosphere, thanks to a precise use of synthesizers"

what the literal fuck?

This band has always been pretty decent, but the vocals totally ruin it for me. I just can't listen to them for prolonged periods of time because it starts to really irritate me.

Song is okay, I guess. About 3/4 into the song I don't know if he was inhale screaming or what, but it sounded awful. The clean vocals kind of reminded me of a slightly worse version of BTBAM.

Between "Short dude with huge gauges with hipster glasses" and "Mr. Redbeard Who Has Creepy, Cartoonish Eyes", this is a funny looking band.

Well that took a little bit to get going, but it wasn't too bad. Not as great as anything from Terminate Damnation, but still decent. I'll check this album out.

I'm also eyeing that Burlington, NC show.

Song wasn't horrible in the least, but I don't like the direction they're heading.

Jason sounded better, cleans sucked and the solo was sweet.
