DOOM and Thom Yorke collab
2011-03-17 by Askar S Imam | 88 Comments
Rapper DOOM has revealed that he is working on new music with Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke.

In an interview with 3D World magazine, Doom said: "[I'm] doing some stuff with Thom Yorke. We're working on some duets, some duet songs and shit. Just like preliminary shit but we'll probably end up doing a whole record together. He's cool - he got a lot of ill ass ideas and shit, you know."

DOOM and Yorke recently collaborated on a remix of the rapper's song 'Gazillion Ear.'

OMG, i would literally cry while listening to it... altough sounds weird, maybe only a short EP... but that would be enough to me.

When Radiohead announced the intention to just release EPs and singles from now on, you can totally tell that was Thom's idea. He makes a solo album, Radiohead put the brakes on and all of a sudden Thom's working with DOOM, Burial etc

Yorke can have as much of the pie as he wants, as long as this isn't just him "dancing" to DOOM's beats.

iuno dev, i remember at one point thom said in rainbows would be their last album too. in 4 or 5 years, we'll probly get another lp or maybe i'm just being optimistic. yorke's having his fun for now but radiohead's still who he is.
dangermouse manages to collaborate with everyone and still go forward in a more consistent band (2 albums w/ gnarls barkley, 1 lp + ep + w/ broken bells)
