Album kicks ass, much better than I was expecting.
Not quite like Fever, but awesome regardless.
Sweet, gotta give this a listen!
Digging: Nine Inch Nails - Year Zero
So good! I'm so glad!
This was unexpectedly Awesome,
so, now they are a duo with a Pop-rock sound.
Nearly Witches is my favorite thing they've ever produced.
Yessir, that song is probably my most favourite on the new album.
I'm actually enjoying this enough to listen all the way through, you're praise has piqued my interest on the last track hopefully it won't disappoint!
fucking awesome. yeah witches is neato.
some of these, like calendars, and memories, remind me of the most recent the academy is album.
I can see that, but this is feeling like it has more staying power than their latest E.P. imo
Pretty good, I've liked everything this band has produced. But I don't think this can compare to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (for me anyway) as it just doesn't have those metaphoric, story telling lyrics which was a huge thing for me. Behind the great vocals and instrumentals, the lyrics are the only thing standing out to me as something that bugs me...
Soo glad that douche of a guitarist left. This is definitely more interesting than P.O
Digging: Troy Baker - Sitting In the Fire
Lol way to ruin the party Scoot! I will say that I enjoy the beginning a bit more than the end, and "Nearly Witches" ended it off quietly rather than with a bang; I had hoped for the latter.
why is this so bloody good
are we all listening to the same album here? i thought this was terrible
It's better than P.O but it's nowhere near AFYCSO. Some of the hooks are just terrible, like Hurricane's chorus.
Coming down from the initial sugar rush. Album kind of sucks =/
this is soooo good.
Pretty good stuff actually, I was impressed.
right on, I hope this is good
Digging: Waxahatchee - Ivy Tripp
Woooooo this is good, only problems are the lyrics are meh and some songs in the middle of the album are complete filler.
Never listened to all of AFYCSO. If I love this should I check it out?
their stripped out some of the trying-too-hard elements in their debut I didn't care for. yeah it's more accessible, and not quite as lyrically interesting. but it's as theatric and catchy as ever, which is why I listen to these guys.
I really hate this band....
I'm sure they don't care.
Album rulez get onboard people or gtfo
didnt expect this to bore me
Heard the first few tracks and nothing really struck me, will listen to the rest later
The nostalgia hit me when I first listened, but in all honesty this won't be worth me getting.
Probably not. As much as I'm enjoying the album now, I can see the novelty wearing off quicker than usual.
I really enjoyed the initial rush though, but at the most I might get a few of the first tracks just for random moments.
I agree with Scoot on this one.
omfg can't wait to get home so i can enjoy this as loud as i'd like to
Oh no! The bandwagon is shifting from "this actually isn't bad" to "this wasn't bad at first, now it is!" Probably reviewing. People who like this unite!
I'm digging "Hurricane" a lot.
Thanks for paging my u gaiz
Will listen today. Pant-shittingly excited.
From one fan to another, it's fantastic. Don't listen to the haters.
andcas you should review, the rating seems about right as well.
Prepare to be disappointed Atavan.
it's not that good chill out
Its no Fever... but it's close.
no it's not
it's like a mild temperature
Well played Knott... well played.
Im dissapointed to be honest. I really wanted to love this but I can't help but compare it to afycso which was gold to me.
I have a review ready, but there's a fast-multiplying number of extra Vices & Virtues on their page. I don't want to deal with that crap, and I don't know how to fix it. Somebody who knows how should fix it so the controversial review posting can begin.
Never could get into this band so not gonna try now based off these comments...
