Wasn't bad at all, really enjoyed that they tried to bring the heaviness back. Better than their last one by far. The only really annoying this about it is the lyrics at points.

It's not as bad as Appeal to Reason, but it's still nothing but slick, radio-ready meat-and-potatoes hardcore.

"definitely better than appeal to reason"

Album has been out in Aus for a few days. I'm a little dissapointed, every single song sounds the same! at least on appeal to reason we had some clear stand outs. I hope to hell this grows on me.

I'm not impressed, though I had no hopes for being so.

Rise Against have lost their egde and seem to get lost in a radio rock nowhereland. Architects is a good example, as intro verse and bridge are good stuff, but the softwasher chorus kills it all. As with most of the songs.

I think this is a good direction following Appeal to Reason, but this is no Sufferer and The Witness
