guitars were just chugchugchug most of the time, theres a lot more emphasis on the keyboards...sounds kinda gay, but it wasnt bad.

i was a bit disappointed because the studio updates suggested better stuff, but it was still decent. love that the bass is audible the entire time. album is shaping up to be much better than a higher place

The production on this is really really good too. Not harsh like AHP (which, don't get me wrong, suited the album) and you can actually hear the rattle of the bass.

Love this song. Although I don't think it will be the best that The Discovery will have to offer. I don't want to speak too soon, but I think this will be the best Born of Osiris album yet.

production is top notch i recon the bass would be faaaaar more intresting if it wasnt just chugging away the whole damn time, idk, they are in between DI and The Contortionist pre Exoplanet for me (thats not a bad thing at all, just a very un-unique one)

I can't stand music this overproduced.

Might as well have been synthesized entirely in a computer program.

these guys need to trim the fat, they have way too many ideas in a song and don't really expand on them. Also these guys really love chugging.

This was pretty much better than most of A Higher Place. The end was pretty sick and the bass is finally heard and the keyboardist is more noticed now then he used to be only for breakdowns which is a plus. I hate his screams though.

Yeah this better not be THE BEST on the album or else it'll all go to shit.

Guitars were basic the whole time with the melodic parts being way too simplistic. keyboards and vocals were great sounding compared to last two efforts.

If they can just add a melodic solo they'd probably have a really good album on their hands.

I reeeally hope BOO just improves their formula, making The Discovery like their first two albums, only better. They have so much potential. They just need to make the awesome parts longer, and some more general variation. Like I said, potential. A shit-ton of it.

Compared the last two albums this was much more enjoyable. I cant listen to more than 1 minute of A New Reign because of the stale production and the clicky cardboard sounding bass drum. A Higher Place would have been ok if the songs did not sound exactly the same (exept Now Arise).
This album seems to have the best production theve had and it doesnt seem to have those cliche slow solos over the breakdowns and a huge plus to putting the keyboards higher in the mix.
I will be checking this album out!
