Georgia post-hardcore band Showbread have posted the video for their new single 'I Never Liked Anyone and I'm Afraid of People' on their official website.
they're boring now
Digging: Less Than Jake - See The Light
They are not and never were Post Hardcore
So booooooring now. Post hardcore? Right.
Fairly ironic that I would criticize this with my avatar being what it is...
is this the same band that had the screaming black guy and keytar player? wtf?
band is naff
Wow. This absolutely blows.
Album rules bitches. Going to watch the video later because my iPod lacks flash.
Oh and it would be better to take the post-hardcore part out the news article that was people aren't expecting something heavier.
Ah, I still gotta watch the dvd that came with the album. .
bands so bad
Video was okay, song kinda sucked. I still sort of have a soft spot for this band, though, so I'm downloading the album to see if it's any good. "Nihilism" is still their best effort in my opinion.
someone edited the article to say post hardcore
also you guys suck
Saw these guys at soulfest 2010, nothing impressive.
This was one of the songs that was really solid off of this album, and I quite enjoyed the video. I personally would love a video for "Myth of a Christian Nation" though.
Saw these guys in '09 at a tiny church. The opening bands kicked their ass.
This is def the best work they've done in several years. They really got stuck with NSNISP hanging over their heads.
STAB ART TO DEEAAAATTTHHH
needs more of this.
Eh, not as bad as you guys make it out to be.
I miss the screaming though...
Still, it's free music, and I've always sort of liked them.
Def not post-hardcore though.
People not appreciating Showbread almost offends me personally. To each their own, I guess...
dude do you not know who i am
showbread is the greatest band of all time.
that video was nice. haters gonna hate. I have respect that
they make their own videos and pay out of their own pocket.
Digging: Waxahatchee - American Weekend
I consider myself a pretty big showbread fan and will admit their latest record was pretty boring. Their videos are always pretty great though.
"Digging: The Chariot - Long Live"
You are a king.
Let the new album grow on you, I thought the same at first but it became a 4.0 pretty quick.
it's boring compared to their other work but still really cool.
Yep, and I'm not going to complain with it being free and being accompanied by a free tour. Guys are legit.
new album would be boring if it were any other band
Yeah, have you listened to any of those other Come&Live! worship-y bands? A lot of suckage going on. Only Showbread could pull this kind of album this well and make it so catchy. Still not really feeling the long song at the end that much though, tbh.
not sure. there are a couple tracks towards that are snoozing.
I'm still trying to let it grow on me. Hydra and Time to Go are my favorites atm.
Hydra was always the standout for me.
