Fates Warning side project

Jim Matheos (Fates Warning, OSI) and John Arch (ex-Fates Warning) are currently working on a new full-length album with hopes of a late spring / early summer release.

The band will be called Arch / Matheos and will be rounded out by Joey Vera on bass (Armored Saint, Anthrax, Fates Warning, Seven Witches), Bobby Jarzombek on drums (Halford, Fates Warning, Sebastian Bach, Riot), and Frank Aresti on additional lead guitar (Fates Warning, Dragonspoon).

Wow! Best news since Psychotic Waltz reunited! What an amazing year this is already turning out to be. If this is anywhere near as good as the Twist of Fate EP, I will be ecstatic. Been so long, I never thought they do any more music together.

Parallels reunion tour and now this? It's like Matheos is doing everything possible other than actually releasing a new Fates Warning album. Oh well. I can forgive it for things like this. Arch/Matheos/Aresti again. Amazing.
