Titus Andronicus Lose Bassist
2011-01-03 by Nevin | 48 Replies | 2308 Views

After their show in New Jersey to kick off the New Year, rumors were around that bassist Ian Graetzer may be leaving the punk group Titus Andronicus. Recently on the band's blog, this was confirmed to be true. Lead man Patrick Stickles says there are no hard feelings between the group and Graetzer, saying "the months since Ian announced his departure plans (yes, the months!) have been some of the happiest and friendliest in all of our organization's history."

The Monitor is excellent. The fact that I couldn't find tickets to the Royal Oak show (last I checked anyways) is not excellent.

have you listened to this band. They don't seem the type to pussyfoot around something. If he left on bad terms they would say so.

Question: if a bass player leaves a band in the forest, does it make a difference?

this is why i was bummed, not because i really like bassists. those videos were great. stickles is simultaneously the most awkward and awesome person in the room, all the time.

Meshuggah's guitarists are already practically bassists anyway.

Dear Titus Andronicus,

please appoint a new bassist, record a new album and then come back to the UK with great haste.

If I have to live forever in the knowledge that I could've seen your show but got so drunk on the night preceeding it that I was unable to function and therefore missed it to whatever extent that I hate myself it won't be enough.

Thank you & goodnight.
